About The Role

The People Business Partner ensures that Elfie’s team operates smoothly and stays engaged.

By managing people processes, contractor/employee relations, and compliance across markets, this role enables managers/leaders and team members to focus on what matters most - delivering health impact at scale. Through efficient People operations, a positive team experience, and trusted support, the role directly contributes to Elfie’s mission of improving global health outcomes.

What You’ll Do

1. People Operations & Support

• Manage the full team member lifecycle, from onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, to extensions.

• Support team leads and talents with People-related questions and issue resolution.

• Ensure all documentation and contractual processes comply with local labor laws and company standards.

2. Contractor/Employee Relations & Compliance

• Act as the first point of contact for contractor/employee relations matters, escalating issues where needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of contractor performance or engagement cases.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across multiple geographies.

3. Performance & Development Support

• Coordinate performance review processes, ensuring timelines and communications are clear.

• Support calibration and feedback sessions with relevant data and follow-up tracking.

• Help implement development initiatives designed by the leadership team.

4. Engagement & Culture Enablement

• Coordinate engagement surveys, action follow-ups, and recognition initiatives.

• Organize people-related events and programs that foster Elfie’s values and community spirit.

• Support communication and feedback loops between employees and leadership.

5. Data & Process Excellence

• Maintain HR records and data accuracy in systems and reports.

• Provide basic people metrics (attrition, headcount, etc.) to support business decisions.

• Recommend small process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

What You’ll Need

• Experience: 4–6 years in People Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner roles, ideally within startups or fast-scaling, global environments.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of contractor/EOR management, cross-border compliance, and basic employment law principles.

• Systems: Comfortable managing HRIS tools, contracts, and reporting dashboards.

• Execution: Proven track record of delivering accurate, timely People processes in a lean structure.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English; fluent Vietnamese required.

• Culture Fit: Passionate about health, innovation, and impact; thrives in a values-driven, multicultural company.
