ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Management Controller is a key analytical and execution-driven role responsible for ensuring Elfie’s performance measurement systems are accurate, repeatable, and scalable. This role directly impacts growth, efficiency, and execution excellence by designing and managing performance tracking processes across all departments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design and manage performance tracking processes across all departments (marketing, commercial, product, software engineering, HR) to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and scalability.
Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Provide data-driven insights to inform business strategies and drive growth initiatives
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align performance metrics with organizational goals and objectives
Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Proven experience in a management controller or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced digital environment and a focus on software development and product performance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, financial modeling tools)
Experience in designing and implementing performance measurement systems to drive business growth and operational efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is advantageous.

Experience with performance monitoring tools (Mixpanel, Firebase, Clevertap, Sentry, Google Cloud, etc.).
Background in automation for efficient data reporting

Pharmaceutical companies: Elfie's free application is sponsored by pharmaceutical companies, who need to drive treatment adherence and access anonymized real-world data. Pharmaceutical companies cover our company operational costs and the promotion of the application.
Insurers and employers: Elfie premium version (aka ElfieWorks) is an employee health program sponsored by employers and insurers. These companies need employees to stay in good health and engaged to increase productivity and keep ever-increasing healthcare costs under control. ElfieWorks is designed and distributed in partnership with a global insurance broker and partner insurers.
