About The Role
We are seeking a Biostatistician to join our growing data team and spearhead the development of our research capabilities from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to build the statistical foundation for a company already collaborating with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. You will lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of Real World Evidence (RWE) studies while establishing robust methodologies to support both internal research initiatives and external pharmaceutical partnerships.

What You’ll Do
Study Design & Research Leadership
Design and oversee Real World Evidence studies to demonstrate the efficacy of our mobile health platform in improving patient outcomes
Develop statistical methodologies for randomized controlled trials and observational studies, with a focus on mobile health interventions
Create and review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) for both internal research and collaborative pharmaceutical studies
Lead the analysis of longitudinal patient datasets, addressing challenges inherent in mobile health research
Data Analysis & Methodology
Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify patterns in treatment adherence, symptom progression, and clinical outcomes
Develop advanced statistical models for missing data imputation and dropout analysis in mobile health contexts
Handle high-attrition datasets typical of mobile health applications (addressing dropout rates that can exceed 40% in digital health interventions)
Implement innovative approaches to causal inference and synthetic control methodologies for real-world evidence generation
Pharmaceutical Partnership Support
Provide statistical expertise for collaborative research projects with pharmaceutical partners
Generate insights for pharmaceutical marketing campaigns through analysis of anonymized symptom and medication usage data
Support market share analysis and salesforce optimization through geospatial and temporal data analytics
Contribute to regulatory submissions and health technology assessments using real-world data
Data Infrastructure & Strategy
Inform internal data structure design to optimize data collection for research purposes
Establish statistical standards and quality assurance processes for all research activities
Collaborate with the research coordinator at Imperial College London on international research initiatives
What You’ll Need
PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics or related field with 3+ years industry experience; or Master’s with 5+ years.
Demonstrated experience designing and analyzing clinical trials and observational RWE studies.
Proficiency in SAS and R; strong skills in longitudinal and survival analysis.
Hands-on expertise with missing data methods (e.g., multiple imputation, sensitivity analyses) and attrition/dropout handling.
Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and data standards (FDA/EMA/ICH; CDISC SDTM/ADaM preferred).
Ability to translate clinical questions into analysis plans (SAPs) and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with pharma, CROs, AROs, or digital health companies on research deliverables.
Nice to have: geospatial analytics, HEOR/causal inference, ML for health data, and chronic disease/mHealth experience.
