About The Role
Elfie’s growth depends on people. As Director, People & Growth, you ensure Elfie has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.
You partner with the COO and leadership team to drive talent and growth - succession planning, leadership development, and org design - while ensuring People operations scale effectively through your team.

What You’ll Do
Talent, Growth & Pipeline
Lead Elfie’s Talent & Growth strategy, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
Define current and future talent needs linked to business priorities, anticipating new roles before the need is urgent.
Drive succession planning for 100% of critical roles and build leadership and manager pipelines through targeted development.
Manage the Talent Acquisition function, overseeing global hiring to secure high-fit talent (skills + culture) and ensuring speed-to-fill for critical positions.
Make clear calls on talent fit, role redesign, or external hiring to keep teams agile and effective.
Business & Strategic Partnership
Partner with the COO and senior leadership to translate commercial goals into People strategies, headcount plans, and org design.
Act as a strategic advisor on leadership effectiveness, organizational trade-offs, and workforce planning.
Align People priorities with financial goals in partnership with Finance and Legal.
Influence commercial and product decisions by embedding People & Culture perspectives.
Performance, Rewards & Experience
Design and implement a performance management framework that supports both business KPIs and talent development.
Own and evolve Elfie’s global compensation & benefits philosophy, in partnership with Finance, to ensure competitiveness and internal equity across all geographies.
Champion Elfie’s values, embedding them into leadership behaviours, systems, and processes.
Drive employee engagement and recognition programs that reinforce resilience, ownership, and high performance.
People Infrastructure & Transformation
Build the systems, policies, and frameworks that enable Elfie to scale globally while keeping culture and fairness intact.
Lead People initiatives during reorganisations, expansions, and new market launches.
Ensure the People Team delivers seamless employee experiences across the full journey, from onboarding to exit.
Leverage People insights (succession readiness, retention, engagement, performance) to guide strategic decisions.
Balance founders’ vision with sustainable structures to avoid “growth chaos” and continuously adapt practices to evolving business needs.
What You’ll Need
8–12+ years of senior HR/People leadership in fast-scaling, international environments.
Proven ability to link business priorities with talent strategy, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
Strong track record in succession planning, leadership pipeline development, and global hiring.
Experience managing TA, org design, performance frameworks, and C&B across multiple geographies.
Sharp instincts on talent fit and ability to make clear calls on redesign vs. external hire.
Commercial acumen, aligning People decisions with P&L outcomes.
Global mindset; fluent in English (Vietnamese required).
